Questions & Details
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in the early fall, so we’re encouraging cocktail attire with a relaxed, autumn garden-party feel. Think semi-formal but comfortable—suits or sports coats, dresses or dressy separates are welcome. Feel free to lean into the season with rich fall colors like rust, forest green, plum, gold, etc.—but only if it feels like you! Since we’ll be on grass, we recommend shoes you can walk (and dance!) in. It may get a little chilly in the evening, so bring a jacket or cozy layer. Come dressed to feel good and have fun!
WHAT’S THE VENUE LIKE?
We’re thrilled to celebrate at our friend Jimmy’s beautiful home! The ceremony will be held outdoors on the grass, and the reception will be under a tent with a dance floor. Just a friendly reminder to be mindful of the space and the neighbors nearby as we celebrate this special day.
WHERE DO I PARK?
There will be on-site parking. We encourage guests to carpool whenever possible. If you can share a ride, it’ll help keep the area more open and ensure everyone has a spot.
WHAT KIND OF CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE?
We plan to have a short, sweet, and unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras off and away so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Thank you!
Reception to follow!
WHAT’S FOR DINNER?
There will be a buffet-style dinner catered by Johnny Macaroni’s with lots of options available for everyone. Yes—there will be chicken tendies.
CAN I BRING MY OWN DRINKS?
There will be a mobile bar service with fresh cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine. Additional soft drinks, water, and coffee will be available, too. No outside alcohol is to be consumed during the hours of the bar service, please!
